Frequently Asked Questions

Lake Texoma Guided Fishing Trips

What Should I Bring on the Trip?

Lake Texoma Guided Fishing Trips

We supply rods, reels, lures, bait, life vests, and zip lock bags.  You will need to pack a small cooler with drinks and snacks for a 5-6 hour trip.  You will need sunblock, and please dress for the weather.  Layers for cold weather and light clothes for the heat!  Cover up your head!  Wide brim hat for summer and a stocking cap for cold weather.  A rain jacket is a great idea to block the wind and keep you dry!  We fish through poor weather because Striper and Blue Catfish EAT in the cold rain!

How Long do Trips Last?

Lake Texoma Guided Fishing Trips

Most trips last 6-8 hours depending on the time of year, what lake we are fishing, and what species we are trying to catch!  Our goal is to have happy anglers that want to fish with us again and again.  Some anglers want to fish a little bit, and some want to fish all day.  We will make sure all anglers are happy.  A 7 AM start will usually end by 3 PM.

Where Will We Meet?

Lake Texoma Guided Fishing Trips

I will call you a day or two before the trip to confirm a meeting time and place.  Once again it depends on the lake and species we are trying to catch!  Generally we meet at LightHouse Marina on Lake Texoma, and Anchor Inn on Lake Tawakoni.
